Apis Mellifica is derived from the honeybee. Apis Mellifica is generally used for insect bites and stings, swelling and stinging pain, sore throats with burning pain, urinary tract infection that have burning discomfort and pain, and inflamed joints with pain.
The use of Apis mellifica tincture is primarily associated with conditions such as bee stings, insect bites, hives, allergic reactions, and various inflammatory conditions. It is believed to have anti-inflammatory properties that can help reduce redness, swelling, and pain associated with these conditions. The tincture may also be used for conditions such as urinary tract infections, edema, sore throat, and eye irritations.
Apis mellifica tincture may be used when a person exhibits symptoms such as hot, red, swollen skin or mucous membranes; stinging or burning pain; sensitivity to touch or pressure; and relief from applying cold compresses.
While some tinctures can be applied topically, this one is to be taken orally. Tinctures are diluted with water before consumption (with varying amounts of tincture ranging from as low as 5,10 to 20, 30 drops).
